About UsThe Pam Broadbent School of Dance was established in 1976. A successful dancer herself, Pam developed the school, not only as a result of her love for the art of dance, but to impart some of her knowledge and experience to others. Having been a student at the school since the age of three, Marnie (Broadbent) Armstrong joined Pam as a teacher of the school, after successfully completing her required teaching qualifications. In 1994 Marnie and Pam formed a partnership and the Pam Broadbent School of Dance was to become known as the Broadbent Dance Academy. Pam and Marnie have had over 50 years combined experience in teaching all age groups the art of dance. The Broadbent Dance Academy is extremely professional in the way in which the academy is conducted, and is totally committed to the development and enhancement of its students. The Academy takes extreme pride in nurturing its students, teaching them the correct techniques, and in watching them develop and grow, not only in their performance but also personally in their confidence and conduct. In November 2014 we moved into our own building, providing the students with brand new state of the art studios. There are three beautiful studios with sprung floors, mounted mirrors, mounted barres, along with a changeroom, waiting area, reception and much more, to provide a warm and safe place for the students to fulfil and grow their passion for dance. | |
